A famous person once said “You are Braver than you believe, Stronger than you seem, and Smarter than you think.” This is true for all of us. Yesterday with the help of a friend I took on my greatest mountain fear, "Ridges" and they don't come much scarier than Crib Goch in Snowdonia. At 923m high and in places with nothing but a knife edge ridge to walk along this pushed me to my limits. There were occasions when I wanted to just say "I'm done, lets go down" but with the support of Stuart (A trusted friend and Mountain Guide) I pushed on. Previously I'd been beaten on Mount Elbus in Russia by my fear, I wouldn't be beaten again. Mentally and physically after 6 hours I was totally spent, but what a buzz. I'd taken on a challenge that I never thought I would do, and I had completed it. I'd crossed a ridge, climbed the pinnacles and scrambled up a mountain, and I'd survived. I once said I'd never do Crib Goch, and yesterday I did, so "Never say Never", because,
